Announcement is made of the marriage of Megan Calkin, originally from Black Rock, NS, and Adam Gieni of Moose Jaw, SK, which took place July 6, 2019 at Lightfoot and Wolfville Winery.

The couple currently resides in Moose Jaw, where Megan works as a dental assistant and Adam works as a journeyman carpenter. Justice of the Peace Sarah Anderson officiated the ceremony.

Megan carried a bouquet of white garden roses, eucalyptus, and other greenery. Her dress was ivory floral lace, with a high neckline. Adam wore a navy blue suit.

The bridal party included five bridesmaids and five groomsmen.
A poem, written my Grannie Jean Calkin was read during the ceremony to mark the occasion.

The weather was warm but there was a nice breeze coming off the water for the ceremony. The newlyweds danced their way up the aisle at the end of the ceremony.

Reception was held at the Kentville Volunteer Fire Department but not before the newlyweds shared a beer on the patio of The Church Brewery on Main Street, Wolfville.

The happy couple plans to honeymoon to Ireland, Italy, and Greece next year.
