Big Changes for the Berwick Library!

A big change is coming to Berwick. Â The new library will be located at 236 Commercial Street, in the same building as Town of Berwick. If all goes well, we are set to open in the new location on January 19. The library will be closed January 16, 17, and 18 in order to facilitate our move to the permanent location at the new branch. In addition to a new location in a new building, the library will also have new hours, effective January 19.
The new hours are:
Tuesday  10:00 – 5:00
Wednesday 10:00 – 5:00
Thursday 12:00 – 8:00
Friday 12:00 – 8:00
Saturday 10:00 – 2:00
CLOSED Sunday and Monday
Ann-Marie Mathieu, CEO, says “We want to thank everyone who has made this new library possible – from the Town of Berwick, to the Friends of the Library, to the people and businesses who have donated amounts large and small. This is truly a community effort.”
The new library has some features, including a community living room, vibrant Children’s  and Teen areas, and lots of space for sitting and enjoying  books and magazines. The new library welcomes everyone and hopes you will come see this beautiful new space.
