Local fiddle-shredding Eighties dance mavens TripALady will host their fifth Hallowe’en shindig on Saturday night, October 27 at the Old Orchard Inn Heritage Barn, starting at 9pm
If last year’s dance was any indication, a throng of revellers will caper and cavort inside a hall brimming with fantastic costumes and a melodious, devilish din, as these drum-driven musical alchemists pluck refrains from the ghostly ether of top forty radios past, infuse them with the divine madness of Irish fiddle tunes and, wielding the power of the lightning harnessed by mad sound scientist Andy Flinn, brew a potent potion of pop song heaven … all while the waxing moon casts its wraithlike light far into the silent shroud of a harvest night.
Or, in other words, this should be a really good time. Come as yourself, or as someone else! For more information call 697-2271. This is a licensed event, and costumes are adored! – just like our new songs. Tickets are $12 advance (available from Box of Delights), $15 at the door.
